MANGAVERSE × CHATGPT · MCP
Connect MangaVerse to ChatGPT
Connect MangaVerse to ChatGPT to import an attached PDF, translate ready manga pages, repair lettering in Studio and export approved results. Resume saved work without re-uploading. Access requires authorization; AI results can need review.
Account to connect
Read your profile and private manga library. Authorize access using your MangaVerse account.
Your website password is never sent to ChatGPT. You can revoke access anytime in Settings → Connected apps.
Translate manga and comics with ChatGPT
Connect your library
Open the MangaVerse plugin in ChatGPT and authorize your MangaVerse account. Choose an available plan if prompted. The connection lets ChatGPT read and save work in your private library; your website password is not shared with ChatGPT.
Attach a PDF and choose a language
Attach your manga or comic PDF in the chat and ask MangaVerse to translate it into your chosen language. Request Fast for text-shaped covers or Think for image cleaning. MangaVerse prepares the source and OCR; ChatGPT translates the prepared text while the server continues processing.
Review pages and download the PDF
Ask ChatGPT to continue through saved translation, page processing and PDF export. Review small lettering and difficult backgrounds in Studio, where text, masks and bubbles can be adjusted. A partial PDF is incomplete: check which pages still need work before treating it as the final result.
AI translations can need corrections. Supported languages and file limits are shown before upload.
Before you start
Can I resume after a chat or translation stops?
Yes. Ask ChatGPT to find the existing book or import and continue its saved work. Keep the import ID if one is returned. Uploading the same PDF again is usually unnecessary; saved translations should be reused rather than overwritten.
Do I need an API key?
The ChatGPT plugin uses ChatGPT to translate the text. Translating directly on the MangaVerse website with the Spark plan requires your own supported API key. Check your account plan and permissions before uploading; a MangaVerse plan does not include a ChatGPT subscription.
Does every language and page work equally well?
Choose from the languages currently offered in the translator. OCR and translation quality depend on the script, image clarity and layout. Check names, vertical text and small captions. Studio provides manual corrections when automatic lettering or cleaning needs attention.
