Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of MangaVerse at mangaverse.xyz. By using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be legally able to enter into this agreement under the law that applies to you. If you act for an organization, you must have authority to bind it.

MangaVerse provides tools to upload manga and image-based material, recognize text with OCR, translate and localize pages using AI, and read and edit the results. Available features, languages, processing capacity, and supported files may change. A successful upload does not guarantee that every page can be recognized, translated, or rendered successfully.

Account features require registration and authentication. Email and password registration requires email verification. Google sign-in may also be offered when enabled. Provide accurate account information and use an email address or Google account you are authorized to control.

You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and for activity you authorize through your account. Do not share passwords, impersonate another person, or access another user’s account. Sign out when using a shared device and report suspected unauthorized access through the contact details below.

Use MangaVerse lawfully and in a way that respects other people’s rights. You must not:

• Upload or process material that infringes copyright, privacy, or other rights, or that you are not authorized to provide for processing.
• Upload unlawful abusive or exploitative material, malware, or files intended to damage or compromise the service.
• Attempt to access other users’ content, bypass authentication or usage limits, probe the service without authorization, or interfere with its operation.
• Use automation or repeated requests to evade restrictions, overwhelm processing capacity, or abuse verification email delivery.
• Use the service or its results to facilitate unlawful activity, fraud, or impersonation.

You and the relevant rights holders retain rights in uploaded manga, images, text, and other material. MangaVerse does not acquire ownership of your uploads. You are responsible for obtaining the rights and permissions needed to upload, reproduce, translate, adapt, and otherwise process the material through this service.

You give MangaVerse permission to host, copy, analyze, process, translate, adapt, and display your content only as needed to provide and maintain the features you use. This includes making content available to service providers to carry out the requested processing. This permission does not authorize unrelated advertising, public redistribution, or sale of your uploaded manga.

The permission applies while content is being stored or processed for the service, including the limited continued storage described in the Privacy Policy’s retention section, subject to applicable law. Keep your own copies of original material. Removing a book from your library does not itself confirm permanent erasure of all stored files.

OCR, AI translation, image cleaning, and typesetting can omit text, invent or misinterpret wording, lose nuance, alter artwork, or produce inaccurate or inappropriate results. Results may differ between processing attempts and languages. Review localized pages before relying on, publishing, or sharing them.

Processing does not give you rights in source material that you did not already have. Your ability to use or distribute a translated or edited page depends on the rights in the original work, applicable law, and any relevant third-party terms. MangaVerse does not claim ownership of your output merely because you used the service, and does not guarantee that output is unique, copyrightable, or free of third-party rights.

The service is a localization aid. Its results should not be relied on as professional legal, medical, or other expert advice.

Rights in MangaVerse’s branding, interface, and service materials remain with their respective owners. These Terms allow you to use the service as provided; they do not transfer ownership of its branding or proprietary materials. Third-party and open-source components remain subject to their own licenses, and these Terms do not restrict rights those licenses independently give you.

Our Privacy Policy describes account information, cookies, uploads, processing, and providers. MangaVerse depends on hosting, email delivery, AI translation, and, when enabled, Google authentication services. Those services can have their own terms and privacy practices and may become unavailable or change. We do not control services operated independently by third parties.

We may maintain, update, limit, or discontinue features as needed to operate the service. Processing can be delayed or interrupted by maintenance, capacity limits, technical errors, or provider outages. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, a completion time, or indefinite storage. Where changes require notice under applicable law, we will provide it.

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address a breach of these Terms, security risks, misuse, or a legal requirement. Where appropriate and practicable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue. Urgent risks may require immediate action.

You may stop using MangaVerse at any time. Signing out ends your current session but does not delete your account. Book removal and requests for account or data deletion are described in the Privacy Policy; there is currently no self-service account deletion feature. Obligations concerning existing rights, permitted retention, and responsibility for earlier use continue where relevant after use ends.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, MangaVerse is provided on an “as available” basis, without a promise that it will be error-free, meet every purpose, or produce accurate or non-infringing results. You remain responsible for reviewing output and deciding whether it is suitable for your intended use.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, MangaVerse is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or other matters protected by mandatory law. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Applicable law determines the rules and courts that govern a dispute. These Terms do not select an exclusive jurisdiction or require arbitration. Nothing in these Terms takes away protections or access to courts available to you under mandatory consumer law. Where possible, concerns should first be raised through the contact details below to allow an opportunity to resolve them.

We may revise these Terms to reflect changes to the service or applicable requirements. The revised version will be published here with its last-updated date. We will provide additional notice or seek agreement when required by applicable law. If you do not agree with revised Terms, stop using the service.
